IT Horizons Limited is a system integrator ICT company with a clear focus in technology enabled solutions and professional services.

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the company delivers a winning bid to her customers consistently. It maintains all records of all bids – past, present, and ongoing- the organization has in her radar. It ensures records are appropriate per solution portfolios, account managers and proper revenue, gross profit are well documented. The role ensures bids are submitted to time with good quality without missing any documentation required for a winning bid. The role interface between the sales and presales unit and ensure proper coordination of opportunities in and out of the organization. The role is the owner of the company Bid Desk sheet where all company deals are recorded and maintained. The Bid Desk Specialist is also responsible for ensuring the company OEMs certifications and partnerships are up to date, coordinating all activities to ensure OEM anniversary dates with the organization are not missed. The Bid Desk Specialist coordinates with finance to ensure company rebates with OEMs are tracked and paid as at when due. The role is responsible for the organization customer satisfaction survey, coordinating activities to measure feedback from customers on the organization engagement on project and support delivery

Description

  • Ensures the company delivers a winning bid to her customers consistently.
  • Maintains all records of all bids – past, present, and ongoing- the organization has in her radar
  • Ensures records are appropriate per solution portfolios, account managers and proper revenue, gross profit are well documented.
  • Ensures bids are submitted to time with good quality without missing any documentation required for a winning bid.
  • Provide leadership between the sales and presales unit and ensure proper coordination of opportunities in and out of the organization.
  • Own and maintain accurately and updated the company Bid Desk sheet where all company deals are recorded.
  • Ensure the company OEMs certifications and partnerships are up to date by coordinating all activities to ensure OEM anniversary dates with the organization are not missed.
  • Ensures delayed submissions are escalated as at when due.
  • Coordinates with finance to ensure company rebates with OEMs are tracked and paid as at when due.
  • Execute organization customer satisfaction survey, coordinating activities to measure feedback from customers on the organization engagement on project and support delivery.

Job Specification

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Business Analyst, Relevant management qualification or training.
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working as a Bid Manager or Channel Management.
