  • MainOne, an Equinix Company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team and play a key role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of marketing principles, proven experience in creating engaging content, and a passion for driving results through innovative marketing campaigns.
  • This role offers a total immersion into a collaborative team and the successful candidate will work closely with key members of the team, external consultants, and agencies to strategically market the brand in a business-to-business environment.

The specific responsibilities shall include the following:

  • Content Generation and Distribution:
    • Create compelling and engaging content including articles, press releases, newsletters, blogs, etc. for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email, and print.
    • Develop content for external presentations handled by management team, talking points, speeches, company’s profile, introductory letters, etc.
  • Graphic Design and Visuals:
    • Work with external agencies in the creation and design of presentations, flyers, brochures, and other creative marketing materials that are visually appealing, aligned with brand guidelines, and support marketing objectives.
    • Work with external agencies in the creation of new content/repurpose of existing content into audio-visual materials for dissemination via digital platforms.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all marketing collaterals and ensure all visual assets adhere to brand style guide and messaging.
  • Media Monitoring and Engagement:
    • Proactively monitor press and media mentions of the company and industry using media monitoring tools and strategies to identify relevant coverage.
    • Track brand reputation and competitor activity, analyze sentiment and key themes within media mentions and implement strategies to leverage positive media coverage.
    • Prepare and provide timely responses to media inquiries and work with relevant internal teams to craft accurate and consistent messaging.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies.
  • Proactively identify and propose new marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of overall marketing campaigns.
  • Provide support to marketing & sales teams as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in marketing or branding, with a focus on content development, graphic design, and presentations
  • Proven copywriting, content creation and content marketing skills
  • Proficiency in marketing tools like Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in graphics and video editing
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software, and Microsoft Office Suit
  • Good strategy planning, execution, and analytical skills
