Trust Television Network, a subsidiary company of Media Trust Group, (Publishers of Daily Trust newspapers, Trust Radio and other digital channels), is a leading media organization committed to delivering reliable news and information to its viewers.


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our team. As a Marketing Officer at Trust TV, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing campaigns to promote our brand, increase audience engagement, and drive viewership. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication of Trust TV’s value proposition and deliver impactful marketing initiatives.


  • Marketing strategy development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Trust TV’s brand objectives and target audience. Identify key market segments, analyze competitors, and propose innovative approaches to reach and engage viewers effectively.
  • Campaign planning and execution: Conceptualize, plan, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including television, digital media, social media, print, outdoor, and events. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve measurable objectives.
  • Content creation and messaging: Create compelling marketing content, including copywriting, scripts, slogans, taglines, and visual assets. Craft clear and persuasive messaging that resonates with the target audience and aligns with Trust TV’s brand identity.
  • Digital marketing and social media: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, email marketing, and influencer partnerships. Manage Trust TV’s social media accounts and monitor performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Brand management: Support brand-building initiatives by ensuring consistent brand representation across all marketing materials and communication channels. Monitor and protect the brand’s reputation, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining brand integrity.
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct market research, including audience insights, competitive analysis, and industry trends, to identify opportunities and recommend strategies for increasing viewership and market share. Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to measure effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaboration and coordination: Liaise with internal teams, including content producers, design, and production, to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns. Collaborate with external agencies and partners to maximize campaign impact and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Event planning and participation: Coordinate and support Trust TV’s participation in industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and community initiatives. Plan and execute promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and engage with the target audience.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective campaign execution. Monitor expenses and provide regular reports on budget utilization and campaign ROI.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in marketing, advertising, or related roles, preferably within the broadcasting or media industry.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices across traditional and digital channels.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing techniques, including social media, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and adapt it to various communication channels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, track performance metrics, and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, such as CRM systems, marketing automation software, and social media management tools.
