PressOne Africa is an early-stage startup helping entrepreneurs retain their customers, through a centralised voice communication platform. We are on a mission to help entrepreneurs across Africa build more customer-centric businesses. With our business phone systems, entrepreneurs, no matter the size of their business, can handle customer communication like global brands.

Role Overview

  • We’re on the lookout for a User Experience & Engagement Specialist. This role is about understanding our entrepreneurs deeply, ensuring they get maximum value from our platform, and cultivating strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • User Insights: Dive into data to understand customer behavior, preferences, and areas of improvement.
  • Feedback Loop: Engage with users to collect feedback, turning these insights into actionable improvements.
  • Enhance Onboarding: Continuously enhance the onboarding process, ensuring entrepreneurs get maximum value from day one.
  • User Engagement: Develop and roll out strategies to engage entrepreneurs through their lifecycle, promoting deeper platform integration and feature adoption.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the product, marketing, and support teams to share insights and drive customer-centric initiatives.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Sociology or a related field.
  • Proven experience in user engagement, customer success, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
